![]() Hopefully the changes implemented in this version will make it a bit more user friendly. A very special thanks to being the guinea pig on this plugin. You can find the most current release at Thanks to all in the thread (who suggested this. It's way easier than zipping the project up, uploading it to this site, editing the description/change-log, etc. Could this be a so-called gold-rim Dagor? Any information on the identity of this lens, its age, etc. The threads on the front and rear elements are gold colored and it appears there is still a small amount of gold coating on the rim and side of the rear element. The lens is mounted in an older dial-set Ilex shutter that I had rebuilt because it was not working when I got it. Both elements have the same serial number. The lens has the following marking: GOERZ DAGOR F:6.8 FOCUS 12 IN. I own a 12 inch lens that I am thinking about selling, but I don't want to misrepresent it in any way. Note that the source warns that 'anomalies' exist, and suggests that some lenses, either made by Ross from designs of other companies (such as Zeiss and Goerz), or lenses made for Ross by subcontractors, may have their own serial numbers unrelated to these. Part of the serial number sequence of lenses made by Ross.
